The success of Advokat led to a partnership with California Labor & Workforce Development Agency to help iterate on their COVID-19 Worker Benefits and Leave Navigator. It’s an online tool helping low-wage workers better understand their rights to benefits in the times of COVID-19. LWDA's Navigator leverages Advokat's content design and plain language content. By introducing LWDA to human-centered-design best practices, they were able to improve the tool from insights based on user research studies.
The Covid-19 Worker Benefits and Leave Navigator interactive tool leveraged Advokat’s plain language content design and strategy. It also used insights from usability research to make it more accessible and user-friendly for the general public.
